JMT came to Poland with his wife invited by Organizing Committee of the Jubilee Vigil. This visit was blessed by archbishop Henryk Hoser SAC an ordinary of Warszawa-Praga diocese. It was the first visit of this artist and missionary in Poland. During his five day stay JMT gave two concerts: the first concert was a part of Jubilee Vigil in Otwock. The second concert took place in Krakow where the Talbots were granted an audience by cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz. JMT took part in a press conference, gave a lecture during music workshop in Otwock, and in Krakow he received a warm welcome from Franciscans. On the occasion of the artist visit Wydawnictwo Mateusza, a publishing house, published his book "The World is my cloister".
